This UX Assessment reviews UX design patterns across a clients existing digital properties in order to determine how consistently they are being applied and where there are opportunities for an improved experience. This assessment is to standardize and elevate the quality of digital experiences and drive cultural change in order to create a seamless identity, improve customer satisfactions, and lower costs, and improve speed to market.
A user’s first interaction with a design pattern trains them on what to expect for future interactions. When more than one pattern is used for the same thing, it can be disorienting to the user. Inconsistent experiences across sites with a common user group can lead to a lack of trust in the brand itself. There is crossover in the usership of multiple client sites, meaning the same person could be exposed to different patterns, sometimes in the same sitting.
Assessment framework was carefully thought through. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Atomic Design is a system used to build and organize design elements. This was used as a framework check key elements for consistency of usage and style across the five live sites.
Attributes we kept in mind as we evaluated the current state. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. This project consisted of extensive audits over five existing client properties. Following the framework of atomic design, we documented and evaluated the atoms, templates and molecules that made up each property.
While the primary impact of the properties are on prospective clients, there are others to consider as well.
Properties each have their specific focuses. Insights, education, and general offerings occur on the main client name site. Investment managers lean towards a different site focused on investment insights and products. The next property is used by internal employees, hosting their suite of workplace solutions and resources. For current clients with an investment portfolio, this fourth property provides a dashboard for existing client portfolios and their transactions. Lastly, this client conducts extensive research and is a thought-leader in the industry all of which can be found in the last property.
After several weeks of audit and assessment, we summarized our findings highlighting areas of excellence and opportunities.
